Upon reading this news article and seeing some news reports on TV, made me worry about my kids but at he same time happy that there are still people who would put themselves at risk to do the right thing. The good samaritan was not armed but he still did what he needs to do.

Re: Kidnapped girl saved by good samaritan
I am glad that everything worked out for the best. The man who rescued the girl from the kidnapper, Victor Perez, did what he thought was the best thing to do. Obviously it could have turned out much different had either of them been armed and there had been an exchange of gunfire.baraco01 wrote:Upon reading this news article and seeing some news reports on TV, made me worry about my kids but at he same time happy that there are still people who would put themselves at risk to do the right thing. The girl is home safe with her mother now, and that is what matters. However, that poor girl will likely have issues for the rest of her life because of that worthless scumbag who kidnapped her.
Victor Perez did what he thought was best in the situation, and everything worked out fine. I believe his best course of action (and safest for both him and the girl) may have been to follow the suspect at a safe distance and call 911 to alert the authorities of their situation and location.
It worked out in the end, and all I have left to say is...
God Bless Victor Perez for saving that child!

IMO those that would tarnish a child in that nature should be hung by the neck until dead.
