And why would that location be off-limits? Is it posted?TxKimberMan wrote:http://www.fairpark.org/index.php?optio ... cle&id=246sjfcontrol wrote:What is "The Old Mill"?
Edit: You guys beat me to it.
I have no idea. I have not visited it in years. It certainly is not 51%. But why go there and wait hours to get seated when there are corn dogs and funnel cakes and fried everything on the midway?sjfcontrol wrote:And why would that location be off-limits? My curiosity tended more toward the theoretical as to why the officer would warn that it was off-limits, rather than practical due to impending visits. Indeed I think I can find enough to eat just walking around the fair. By the way, if it's in the fair, is it not on city property?Crossfire wrote:I have no idea. I have not visited it in years. Well that's obviously not a 51% sign then, as "No Concealed Handguns" is not in the verbiage of an official 51% sign.Keith B wrote:Got curious, and since I never plan to go there, I called them. Lady I spoke with stated there is a sign on the door stating no concealed handguns. Not sure if it is a totally compliant sign, but she said it was outside the door.
What I meant to imply was it is apparently 30.06 posted, NOT a 51% sign.dicion wrote:Well that's obviously not a 51% sign then, as "No Concealed Handguns" is not in the verbiage of an official 51% sign.Keith B wrote:Got curious, and since I never plan to go there, I called them. IIRC, it reads "The licensed or unlicensed possession of......" etc...
Someone who goes there, get pictures, and check their TABC License if you have a chance, let us know the 'official' answer!
