Mine I stole from my father. My father is a big guy and was a truck driver. His CB handle was magilla, as in magilla the gorilla. Anyways, he stopped driving truck and when I grew up and got my first CB I took over his handle. It stuck and now I use it for everything. The PD part is because I am a 911 dispatcher, and when I started with the police department I added PD. I should have changed it since I now dispatch for a sheriff's office...should be magillaso

Magillaso has a nice ring to it - it's not too late to change.

My user name is a concatenation of the first part of the farm name we supplied to a livestock breed registry, Middle Age Spread, and my first name.

Cytochromes are heme (Iron) centered proteins that have various functions. Some cytochromes include; cytochrome p450 ( metabolizes alcohol and is found in the liver) cytochrome a, cytochrome b and cytochrome c. Cytochrome c is found in the electron transport chain which provides certain organisms with mitochondria (humans) with ATP ("energy") . Interestingly enough cytochrome c also catalyzes cell death in the case of DNA damage. Think of my name as an allusion to concealed carry in that one has the ability to bring localized death to prevent any further damage to a greater system, like a cytochrome c.

Thanks for the kind welcome. I'll look more into the thread replies. I'm certainly interested in meeting people that are knowledgeable in firearms in DFW.

I wasn't going to answer because I didn't want y'all to worry about me getting a CHL. But I promise I take that incredibly serious.

I have a lot going on with active kids, finishing my degree, many varied interests... but the main reason behind divided attention is I am easy to derail in some instances. I have a shirt that explains it perfectly "They say I have ADD, but they just don't understand... oh look a chicken"

On the flip side I can be doggedly persistant and focused. Just depends.

In case you were wondering 100% on written and 246 out of 250 on the target portion of CHL class. So I can pay attention when necessary.
