Woman No-billed

#1

Post by longtooth »

June 7 a woman was arrested in Lufkin & charged for murder of her common law husband. There were a lot of ?'s & to many it looked like a good shoot. The Lufkin Daily Pravda reports a no-bill by the grand jury. The guy had beat her several times. She had been in a womens shelter & stated she was afraid to return home, but then later did. The time of the shoot, he was drunk, kicked in a locked door to get to her, she shot him. The Gr J. verified it was self defense.

But with the danger of a child finding gun at home, or the threat of a burglar killing you with your own weapon, it is safer to keep something in the house like pepper spray to use in an emergency, he said. He cautioned citizens against being too quick to use a gun.

I know. Some folks can't figure out that it is easier & a LOT safer to take a dispenser of OC away from someone than a gun.
