No change, seriously - GPR. For handguns, Bullet Trap in Plano is an option. Hit the Ye Shire Pub for dinner afterwards before your drive home.

Consider Bullet Trap in Plano. Indoors, 25 yards only.

Bullet Trap is a nice range, but my problem with them is they've gotten too expensive. The non-member range fee is now $19, or $8 with a $110/yr membership. For $10, I can go to the Garland range without any yearly membership fee. I'd have to go to the range an awful lot to make up the $110 membership fee at Bullet Trap.

:iagree:
The bullet Trap is expensive. Have they put AC in there yet?
Bass pro is air conditioned and only costs $12.
Garland has rifle, pistol, and shotgun for $10. it gets my vote

There is a Cabela's going in in Allen, and I'm hoping they have a range too!

I'm in Allen, and I usually just hit Bullet Trap, and occasionally run out to Garland still (75 to 190). Another decent range out in Farmersville, but it's kinda out there.

Do any of the Cabela's have ranges?

Yep! Just moved from Murphy to North Plano. I need to get involved with Collin County IDPA again and I will definitely be looking for an additional place to practice. Might be worth the trip to check things out.

Nope! Plans are to raise the berm and there is talk of range officers and a general tightening down of things there. The Grayson county DA and the high sheriff got the range in their sights until TSRA got involved. Word is it will reopen "soon" but who knows "when." :banghead:

Oh Snap!!!!

My brother and I had been planning to go out there tomorrow on our Friday Off!!!!

I guess we'll have to find another outdoor location.

Anyone have anymore input for ranges North of DFW???... this coming from a guy that lives in Princeton, Texas.

Go to the new Cheaper Than Dirt at 380 and Central and ask for the list of ranges in North Texas. It is complete and comprehesive and free.
