New Glock 30

#1

Post by Grammy »

Well got to the range this morning with my new pistol. I have to say the pistol preformed flawlessly, 200 rounds, the night sights are perfect cound not ask for more. I almost hate to clean it, but I will, it just looks like it had a good day on the job.

Longtooth gave me some good advice selling another pistol I had so I could get this one, thanks LT.

Well I'm off to clean just thought I would share.

When you clean it try not to remove the copper Glock Lube. If it is like off the floor new I wouldn't clean it till it hits 500.

Thanks Gigag, just gave it a good superficial cleaning and cleaned the barrel good. Looks like new.

Love your tag line.

What the heck!?!?!?!?!?
Were you shooting powdered donuts out of that thing?:
I've never had any of mine look like that after a day at the range. What causes that?

I have had my G30 collect some 'exhuast' around the muzzle after shooting but I suspect the 'white powdery look' is simply from the camera flash. Mine usually just shows as some 'dulling' and wipes rights off. (Usually in my Crossbreed Holster) :grumble I keep trying to remeber to take a silcon cloth to 'wipe down' but my memory isn't.....erm what was I saying?

Hope the OP likes the new G30. It is my carry weapon of choice and it is a sweet gun to take to the range too. Big bangs, tight groups, life is good!
