Mine still says under review :cryin
I hope she isn't rubbing it in...my wife would be rubbing it in.
Not yet, but if her plastic comes in first, I may go stay with my parents until mine gets in.

Background check is done! :woohoo Now I'm just waiting on the License to be printed and mailed!

I picked up a new holster yesterday. I'm trying out the Ultimate Second Amendment for my Ruger LCP. Pocket holster won't do because most of my pants pockets aren't deep enough.

Although I am still waiting on my Background Check to clear, but about how longer should I expect to wait for my plastic after my status shows "Fingerprints Completed"? Does the Background Check usually clear shortly after the fingerprints are done? How much more mailbox-watching is in my future?

The BGC can vary. There are people that sent on or around the same as me and the BGC has already cleared. My finger prints have been clear for just over 2 weeks... still waiting on my BGC.

As I posted in another thread, my ink fingerprints were rejected for quality. I have an appointment with L1 for the electronic fingerprints on Thursday. Hopefully it wont put too much of a delay on the progress.

I think my BGC is going to take longer than normal since they have to check a couple of states and a few counties...

I think it is just luck of the draw. I had an out of state background check and an old arrest and it went through really fast (around a month, I think), especially considering my application time included thanksgiving, christmas, and new years.

When I got mine done by L1 I asked the lady and she said it took about 5 days for DPS to get the prints. When my status was avaliable online, exactly 3 weeks from mailing the packet, it was showing finger prints complete. I don't think it will slow it down too much.

I agree with the luck of the draw. I've lived in the same house for 5 years, worked in 2 counties in those 5 years and have a clean record... it's been over a month since i've submitted the packet and coming up on 3 weeks on saturday since my status was avaliable.
