You?
For a zombie scenario?

I wouldn't use a handgun as my primary, but it would be the Glock 19.

Absolutely! The closest would usually be the one I trust the MOST and would be carrying. But, like you, I would not own one I did not trust. If not carrying, like around the house, I'd use the one that was stashed nearest to where I was.

Did anyone say "phased plasma rifle in the 40 watt range" yet?

Just what I see? Like others, I'll grab my AR if it's nearby. I'll go with my Glock or XD if we're limited to pistols.

In the middle of the night my Taurus Judge in the headboard of the bed. Load out is Buckshot with a strip of 45 HP next to it. Wife has SP101 crimson trace loaded +P critical defense. Out of all my handguns I am comfortable with any of my carry guns as soon as they prove themselves reliable.

All 3 1911's (4" & 5" .45 and EMP 9mm), BHP as backup, 870 slung over one shoulder and AR-15 over the other. Ammo vest with 12-30 rounders for the AR and slots for the other mags.

642-1 in front pocket.

Binoculars, fighting knife, AR bayonet & 3 ammo cans full (including another 15-30 rounders .223 loaded and ready).

Talk is cheap. If you want the honest answer to your question, look at what they carry when they walk out the door.
Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.
