7/19 - 7/23 Class Location Change

I called the CHL Instructos department at DPS this morning and found out the July 19th to 23rd instructors class has been moved to Georgetown. It is being held in teh Georgetown Chamber of Commerce meeting facility. The actual address of the Chamber of Commerce is 100 Stadium Drive, Georgetown, TX. See y-all there!

Finally received email today from DPS:

Due to security issues, we have moved the location of the CHL New Instructor class (July 19 - 23) from the St. Micheal Plaza Hotel in Austin to the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce Meeting Room in Georgetown, TX. The address & info is:

There are several hotels in the area, and a list of them as well as a map to the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce Meeting Room has been attached to this email. We regret the inconvenience this causes you, but we feel the new location will best serve your needs. The schedule and all other information provided previously remains the same. I have enclosed a list of Georgetown Hotels, and a map of the location of the school. The LaQuinta Inn in Georgetown does offer a DPS discount.

Yeah, about time. And I did truly appreciate how EVERY student's email address was included on the visible "to:" line instead of the more appropriate "bcc:" line.

You noticed that too, huh? Good thing we're all upstanding citizens, and wouldn't stoop to selling all those email addresses to spam sites!

On the other hand, kinda tells 'ya how many people are in the class... 116. Whew!
