Sorry to say it, but you sound like you've been waiting about an average amount of time. I know it's tough, but patience is the order of the day.

Re: Are you kidding me?
Thanks for the reply.
I was kinda going on what's on the DPS website:
"Although the Department has experienced about a 56% increase in the volume of applications, we currently have an average turnaround of 21 days from the receipt of a completed application to the issuance of a license. However, there are still some factors that cause delays, such as incomplete applications. Ensuring that you meet all the eligibility criteria and that your application is completed properly will assist in the timely issuance of your concealed handgun license."
Boy was I wrong!

Re: Are you kidding me?
You should give them a call after the Holiday. It should have taken only a day or two to make and a day or two to get to you in the mail.
When I got my first one, they mailed it to another person in his envelope. Yes, two licenses in one envelope, mine and his. Mine behind his. He quickly returned mine to DPS and I had it in my hands after about a week delay.
Possibly the same thing has happened to yours? I hope not, but you should be on the phone when you can to them.

72 Days from the time DPS received my complete no error package.
They already had payment three weeks earlier.
Received Plastic in mail today!
Could have been worse.
