Both are good articles. I'm making a copies for my wife to read.

Of course, I was not without my detractors. This one was priceless:


I want to protest your glorification of violence as a means of conflict resolution. Violence is an incorrect and reactionary response directed by overprivileged segments of an oppressive society toward that society's victims…


The so called "victims" in your essay may have saved their lives, but they lost something more valuable: the moral high ground.


Right, I’d hate to get all reactionary on some guy trying to rob or rape me, thereby losing the moral high ground. Uh-huh.
Whoever wrote this needs a reality check. :roll: :roll:

I may not always be on the moral high ground as defined by the writer, but I will always seek the tactical high ground...

There is no "Moral High Ground" in a life and death struggle. One either wins & goes home or fails and dies.

The battle always goes to the one who succesfully makes up the rules.

If you want a fair fight, go to a boxing ring or DoJo. If you want to survive a confrontation, you have to be willing to do what it takes.
