It looks to be a carry style that might not work as well for those of us who are blessed with extra storage capacity.
Sitting down comfort is not bad actually, given you're not wearing tight pants. Any pants you use for IWB will more than likely offer plenty of room for the rig to sit comfortably on top of your groin with no problems.

Still looking for a IWB holster I can wear at the 3 -4 o'clock position without printing too badly. Comfort is not a problem in that position, but my love handles make the gun grip print bad on a couple single clip style holsters I have tried. I'm buying an MTAC soon to see that will work better. Just trying to keep the accessory purchases stealthy so the wife doesn't beat me up too hard! :biggrinjester:

Wear the gun just below the love handles. Once you have built a proper set of love handles you may even be able to completely cover the grip with them.

I am carrying my P30 in smartcarry. I positioned to the either left or right, In Deep Cross draw mode, the gun barrel and the extra 15 rd mags (total of 31) :) would be just behind my left pocket. retrieving my pistol while seated in my car with seat-belt is on is virtually impossible.

If you lower the gun enough, the comfort is acceptable, but also make drawing the gun bit slower than needed. Also, if you have tight pants and buckled up good,, you may need to undo your belt. It makes the draw even a bit more slower and more troublesome.

As for comfort, rubbing the gun barrel to your legs could be an issue for some. One Improvement that I asked my wife to do soon is to add Decron padding and new Cotton layer. The inner side of the smart carry, the white side has already worn down from the barrel rubbing my body.

In the public, Re-holstering is a problem too.

Best scenario would be in case of need to use your tool of self defense, is to dodge the threat and take cover first then proceed to retrieve your tool.

With smartcarry there are so many Cons. My Pistol has Barrel length of 3.785" if, I do not see a problem if I was carrying a pistol with 5" or 6" barrel.

Buying holsters and belts is a lot cheaper than buying guns.

without a doubt OWB is more comfortable. IWB sits best in my small of back until i sit down.

i usually can get away with OWB. im about 240lbs at 6 foot with 36" waist. big shoulders make concealing easy with a 2x shirt.
