If you get the opportunity this weekend, come up to Mesquite for the TSRA annual conference and gun show. Many of us will be there, including Longtooth, Charles Cotton, Compvest, SRVA, and the Crossfires. And, of course, many more.

Hello from the Austin area. Thats my target posted by MTICop...so I figured I should register and join the discussions! longtooth...looking forward to more range time with you and the Missus...that was a LOT of fun, and very educational.

Waiting now for my CHL, and getting more time at the range as I can manage it. LOVING IT!

:tiphat: Welcome and enjoy. I bought my wife a handgun before a ring, lol. She doesn't shoot as well as you do, but she is pretty decent. Her sister and my sister-in-law shoot and they are planning to get together some weekend for girls only range time. Have fun and keep learning.

Thats funny TxDrifter! I am trying to interest my sister and daughter in going to the range with me as well. My daughter is 16 and has expressed ZERO interest in shooting. My 10 year old son is a different animal completely and can't wait to go shoot. Reds in Pflugerville has free gun rental on Mondays for the fairer sex, and I think discounts the range time fees. I have been taking full advantage of that!

Navy Tech,

Feel free to share this with your daughter. This is a video of my 16 year old niece shooting IDPA for the first time. BTW...she had to skip ballet class to do it. ;-)

Don't worry, Joe. I really stink at IDPA. I can stand and shoot pretty accurately at small targets, but when I start moving, there's trouble! But I have fun, I'm with my family and I'm practicing my skills! :coolgleamA:

(Sorry Navy Tech...didn't mean to hijack your thread.)
