Actually I don't have one, I just wanted to point out that there is no such thing as a bulletproof vest.

BTW, don't remember for sure, but I don't think the term "bullet PROOF vest" is used much anymore because they're not always necessarily bulletproof. Bullet resistant? Maybe. Most of the time I see/hear these referred to as "body armor".

Speaking of which, they are needing somebody as a replacement for this lady in the bullet proof glass industry!

Yes, I have one, hanging in my closet. Just in case! (A bullet resistant vest!)

Where did you get it, why did you get, what resistant level is it, how does it feel, is it worn over the clothes or under. Can you lay down in it well?

I have 3 vests, a Second chance Level 3A, Paca Proform XP model KXP-3A and a Galls Level 2A

I was a Deputy and used them everyday. I will say you need to wear a Tee shirt under them as they awill wear a hole in you if you don't .

Does Texas law allow non-LEO's to own/wear body armor?

N. Texas LTC's hold 3 breakfasts each month. All are 800 AM. OC is fine.
2nd Saturdays: Rudy's BBQ, N. Dallas Pkwy, N.bound, N. of Main St., Frisco.
3rd Saturdays: Golden Corral, 465 E. I-20, Collins St exit, Arlington.
4th Saturdays: Sunny St. Cafe, off I-20, Exit 415, Mikus Rd, Willow Park.
