Be very careful. Once your CHL has been suspended and reinstated your only one snitch away from having it permanently revoked. So your living in fear witch defeats the purpose.

I went back to retrieve the statute. Looks like I’ve misinterpreted. :???: I was under the impression that two suspensions for the same offence would be grounds for revocation.

How long were you without your TX CHL (meaning the actual in-your-hand license)?

When I took my CHL class from Crossfire she pointed out the benefit of having another license (ie - UT CFP), this bad situation definitely drives that point home!

You just caused me to think of another possible "issue". I am wondering what would happen if you were stopped and found carrying under Utah non-resident while your Texas was under suspension for a possible criminal reason? Might get tricky when the officer who stops you discovers your CHL is under suspension. I bet the conversation would get a bit squirrely from that point on. I have this visual of trying to esplain myself as he hand cuffs me and puts me in the back of the car.

I considered the Utah good for carrying while waiting for a renewal. I never considered using it for a replacement while under suspension.

What would the problem be?

A Texas CHL is not required to secure a Utah license, and the Utah license isn't affected by a Texas suspension.

I will tell the arresting officer that I have it on good information from some poster on the internet that everything is legit. :smilelol5:

I'm thinking this hypothetical person needs to learn that concealed does not mean flapping in the breeze.

That said, I don't see anything in the MPA language that disqualifies someone who has been accused but not convicted. As far as walking around is concerned, I have an idea for that but I won't discuss it online. Buy me a beer sometime and... :leaving

LOL...that is a rather ironic post considering the thread it is posted on. I don't believe flapping in the breeze is what got the OP arrested. :coolgleamA:

I'm still trying to get my CHL back. Not sure how long it will take. If I need to defend myself now all I have is my cell phone. I'll call the PD, I'm sure they will be there in time to outline my body with chalk.

Well, at least you can still carry a PDD in your car without a license.

Have fun boys. Give that copper heck.
:clapping:
I haven't noticed any mindlessness or cop bashing. They were venting about what those particular cops said and did because the bashing of said activities are justified. If a cop (or civilian) acts like an idiot, they get to be called an idiot.
