Bad Day at Wal-Mart
LILBURN, Ga. -- Police in Georgia say a 23-year-old man grabbed a baseball bat inside of a Walmart and smashed 29 flat-screen televisions.
Police in Lilburn near Atlanta have charged Westley Strellis with 29 counts of criminal damage to property in the second degree.
Witnesses tell police he grabbed a metal baseball bat from the sporting goods section Wednesday, walked to the electronics department and destroyed the TVs on display.
He was arrested not long after that.
Police say the televisions are valued at over $22,000. Police say they do not know whether Strellis has an attorney.

Maybe he's an Eco-Terrorist. Those flat screens use a lot of electricity and create tons of heat.
That's probably why he didn't use a wood bat.

NO! Speaking of TV's, did anyone see the girl literally getting stomped in Seattle last night while the contract "Security" people watched? It was sickening...and I've seen a lot.austinrealtor wrote:OK, so I'll go ahead and post the obligatory ...

Re: Bad Day at Wal-Mart
I saw that last night - unbelievable! Even more amazing that no one moved in to help her. What's the point of having "Security" guards if they're not legally allowed to intervene to provide security to those using the establishment under their "jurisdiction"?Oldgringo wrote:NO! Like you, I couldn't believe such a vicious girl on girl attack...with spectators posed as "security" guards. I suspect that large sums of money are going to change hands with the help of this taped video.particle wrote:I saw that last night - unbelievable! Even more amazing that no one moved in to help her. I think the only way you could have drawn on the guy is if you were standing between the TV and the bat as he was swinging.
