Nervous lunch

Most CHL/LEO contacts are positive, how about yours? Bloopers are fun, but no names please, if it will cause a LEO problems!

The Flying Saucer in Garland used to be a County Line Barbeque and I think it still has the same signs up from then. But i think it's a 51% so I didn't carry there.
Yeah thats what I thought to, its a Beer Place and a Bar. You sure there isnt a 51% sign there?
Also try their gourmet pretzel, hmmmmm thats good.
Only place in the area where you can get Mead, and Woodchuck Cider
I have looked several times. The only signage that I see is the "unlawful to carry because we sell alochol here" ones. Just like at a restaurant. Maybe they just have it hidden really well.:

A few years ago I was "made" by a Malinois as he and his LE handler walked through the unsecured part of the El Paso airport while we were waiting for a flight to come in. The officer just glanced at me and nodded; I smiled and nodded back, & no problems. (I'd had the pistol to the range earlier & hadn't had a chance to thoroughly clean it yet. It probably reeked to high heaven as far as the dog was concerned.)

All guns have at least two safeties. One's digital, one's cognitive. In other words - keep the digit off the trigger until ready to fire, and THINK. Some guns also have mechanical safeties on top of those. But if the first two don't work, the mechanical ones aren't guaranteed. - me

Everytime I drive to see my gf in houston and I see a troop or HCSO on the side of the road, even I still have a split second freak out even though I'm not going more than 5 over or so.

I don't know; I haven't been a LEO for almost 30 years, but I still haven't been able to kick that habit. :???:

I've been a police chaplain for 8 years now and I wouldn't dream of even trying to kick it!!!

Only bad habit that is worse is the German pancakes at the Ol South Pancake House down by Forest Park in Ft. Worth. I could eat my weight in 'em. :thumbs2:
