Unfortunately Lady Gaga. The girl in the office next to me has been rocking out on it, and every time it ends, she starts it again. Like a little kid watching Barney.

Today was the first day in two weeks that I've been to the UH gym when Lady Gaga was not playing on the radio, I've felt your pain.karder wrote:Unfortunately Lady Gaga. ha ha!! I was listening to load this morning. It is "OK" and I wont turn it off, but I liked their Kill 'em all/no life till leather, ride the lightning, master of puppets days...I enjoyed the ...and justice for all and black album as well. Garage days re(revisited) was great....but then they went to "find themselves" and we got load and reload...and then St Anger(or as I like to call it "the one where Lars hits the out of tune drum a whole bunch"). I personally think "Metallica's BACK" with the death magnetic CD, but I have always been a fan.

Not currently listening to any music, just kind of noodling along at my harmonica and listening to my parrots try to improvise with me.

Now we're talking! Open Sesame has got to be one of my favorite albums of all time. Backlash is a close second.thankGod wrote:Freddie Hubbard

I'll usually rotate Hubbard with some Wes Montgomery, Jimmy Smith, and Grant Green.
Aside from Jazz, Calexico has been getting a constant rotation daily for the past year or two.

Re: What are you currently listening to?
I have a pretty good connection to these guys. One of the guys that helped write "Runaway" is a guy named Rob Blackledge - who is also an amazing singer/songwriter. A friend of mine manages them and they all do work with a non profit named iamchange.orgshortysboy09 wrote: I have also been listening to Love and Theft.
For me, I've been listening to John Mayer's Battle Studies alot recently. Also found a good local band called the Rob Dues Band. Their CD is on itunes but the recording quality is not amazing. The music is though.

Re: What are you currently listening to?
I have mood swings with this band: at different times I'll be in the mood for different albums. I only really started listening to all of their music about a year ago but had always listened to their hits when I was a bit younger (though that didn't really constitute me as a fan then).dewayneward wrote:ha ha!! One of my own mix CDs. This is the kind of music that I would play if I owned a radio station and could play anything I wanted.
This is the playlist:
ELO - Turn To Stone
M. Ward - Chinese Translation
Bim (Roy Forbes) - Part Of The Pain
Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah
The Flatlanders - Tonight I Think I'm Gonna Go Downtown
The Flatlanders - Dallas
Chuck Brodsky - The 9:30 Pint
Brian Wilson - Goodnight Irene
Heidi Hauge - Trains and Boats and Planes
Mink DeVille - Spanish Stroll
Mink DeVille - Hey Joe
Hem - (The Angels Wanna Wear) My Red Shoes
Eva Cassidy - American Tune
Eliza Gilkyson - Calling All Angels
Linda Thompson - I Live Not Where I Love
ELO - Hang On To Your Dreams
