Thought you guys would enjoy this...

Post by AFJailor »

For those who do not know/remember me, I am a SSgt in the Air Force and I am currently deployed to Afghanistan.

I was working the other day and saw a local with this belt buckle that caught my eye...I asked him where he got it but the language barrier kinda got in the way. I laughed pretty hard about the fact that out in the middle of nowhere Afghanistan this guy was wearing a pro-2a belt.

Anyways, hope you enjoy the pic, I thought it was pretty darn funny.

I remember some years back, before the USSR threw in the towel, when photographs of young Soviets appeared wearing T-shirts bearing the name of West Point and USMA. The kids had no idea what it meant, they just liked the fact it had American words on it. Oh, and now that I turned my memory on, I remember Dutch kids doing the same thing --- they loved shirts with American words and names on them, even if they were nonsense. I remember one had "University of Penn State" on it.

First time I 've seen a belt buckle in such a situation, tho.

Workhard, stay safe, come home.

Best wishes,

Thanks for the chuckle, AFJailer. So happy you are able to find humor in such a place. Gotta know, did you ask him if he was carrying? ;-)

We cannot thank you and your fellow service members enough. But I'll just say a big huge heartfelt THANK YOU to you and all our men and women over there. The debt of gratitude we owe to each and everyone of you is too profound for mere words to express.

"Article II" covers the executive branch.

"Amendment II" is found in the Bill of Rights under "Amendments." :smilelol5:
