Sr Member Status
Wow, now that I have reached member status (45 post), I feel like Steve Martin in "The Jerk" when he got listed in the White Pages ( " I am sombody") Now just curious what does it take to reach Sr Member status, I could not find anything on the subject.
Thanks in advance

Re: Sr Member Status
It is automatic after a certain number of posts. Just can't remember exactly what that number is.

Re: Sr Member Status
I am sure a long time before I get there, At 47 years young, I might be a senior before I reach senior member status.
Thanks for the input

Re: Sr Member Status
I think it is actually 250, but 200 could be right. Really not a big thing to reach since there are no 'senior discounts' on this forum.mikeintexas wrote:I believe it changes to Senior at 200 posts.Crossfire wrote:It is automatic after a certain number of posts. Re: Sr Member Status
There seems to be no correlation to post numbers, status, and relevancy. Just because someone has a high post count doesn't always mean they know what they are talking about. Join date and post count mean more to me. Some just post "me too" posts and some just like to pontificate. I guess what I'm saying is I tend to avoid the "Post (that word that got Imus in trouble)" posts.

Re: Sr Member Status
enjoy the discussions, share your experiences, learn from others that share theirs & the post count will take care of itself. Everyone pays way more attention to content than to quantity. Here is just like in the work a day world. There are those in the world that can talk all day & not say a thing. Not many of those here though, thank you Lord.

All I know is that USA1 joined more than a year after I did, and he's already got 800 or so more posts than me. And the good Lord knows I'm a talker.joe817 wrote:Those that like to talk alot(no USA1, I didn't mention you) reach that status in a week or 2.

Probably due to all those late nights sitting at the computer reading and replying to all the postsThe Annoyed Man wrote:All I know is that USA1 joined more than a year after I did, and he's already got 800 or so more posts than me. Also , I can take a hint from a few posts up. I guess you can't please all the people all the time.
FWIW , I enjoy everyones posts , from the serious ones to the funny ones to the just plain silly ones.
...but not so much the mean spirited ones.
