Has anyone shot the cor-bon in 45acp 230 gr. jhp +p?
was wondering about recoil/muzzle flash for ccl.

Yes, several hundred rounds of it.

I've used it in my carry gun for many years. I replace my carry ammo yearly, so I "burn up" at least 40 rounds each year. I have also used it successfully on Whitetail Deer and Wild Hogs (pineywoods rooters), also to dispatch a couple of coyotes (had mange) and one aging horse.

Recoil is noticeably sharper than some other "self defense" rounds I have tried. Muzzle flash from my 4-1/4" barrel in dark conditions is "generous" to say the least, pretty much unnoticeable (to the shooter) in daylight though.

If you are not an experienced shooter....then I would recommend a tamer self defense round. I shoot it because it is 100% reliable in my pistol and very accurate, not for the power factor.
