Uplula Magazine Speed Loader
Anyone have and use one of these ? It looks pretty good.
My XD came with a speed loader , but it doesn't work very well for me , so I usually load the mags by hand.
Check out this demo video.

Soon after it became available, I obtained and have been using two of them. One is in my range bag, the other stays at home. It is extremely useful at training courses where you use a lot of ammunition and load/reload a lot of magazines.
It is one of the most useful items I own. Highly recommended.

Second that. I had bought a couple for specific weapons but this thing works like a charm on all my magazines. Even my old single stack Astra 600.

I lost mine, or some one liked it a lot and decided to keep it.

Yes, definitely get one of these. I thought you may have seen mine
during CHLForum day at Friendswood?
This was designed by an Israeli company and their mag loaders are
shipped in mass qtys to allied militaries.
By the way, Uplula stands for "Universal Pistol Loader UnLoader Accessory:
Their website is http://www.maglula.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I believe the video or somwhere it shows a man loading the bullets facing him.
That makes me a little nervous. I turn it around so that the bullets are facing away from me.

Yes , I remember you showing me one but couldn't remember if it was this specific one.
Sounds like from everyones responses, this is a product I'll be getting.
I'll be the envy of the shooting range.
Thanks for all the replies.

Re: Uplula Magazine Speed Loader
I've got one that lives in my range bag, works very well. One of the best purchases I've made.
Re: Uplula Magazine Speed Loader
Love mine. Best accessory ever.
Second best is the bore snake. My daughter and I call them boring snakes though. Because they just lay on the floor and don't do anything and that is boring.

Re: Uplula Magazine Speed Loader
Love mine. For anything more than a single mag-full at a time, definitely the way to go. I bemoan all the pistol courses I took before I got one: I invariably came home with numb-thumb from loading 500 rounds per day (in two instances, bloody-thumb).Beiruty wrote:SIA,

I don't think the universal pistol loader performs unloading. Easier to just push the rounds out...or better yet, as you say, shoot 'em all!
The .223-specific version, though, makes about four seconds worth of work to remove the cartridges from a 30-round mag: spits 'em right out. Also, IMHO, an indispensible accessory for AR-15 owners who shoot more than a mag or two at a time.

Re: Uplula Magazine Speed Loader
+1 Awesome product. One of my best purchases also. Works on my double stack M&P + single stack Kahr mags.
Anyone that has not seen one before and notices me use it asks where to buy one. Cabellas usually has them. They are consistently at the $30 mark at most places.
Has anyone found any other product that performs even close to this one which is smaller for the pocket maybe??
I have seen pictures of the H&K one, all plastic I think but not sure how it works.

Re: Uplula Magazine Speed Loader
Got mine at Academy, $24-26 +tax. Saves a lot of time especially if you have a lot of mags to load.
