Where was the entrance wound, and what kind of load did you use?

Re: AR gets another notch in the stock...
Sorry, I didn't really pay attention to the where the entrance/exit wounds were TAM. The side that you can see in the pic is the side that was facing me when I shot him so i would assume that wound you are looking at is the entrance. I was shooting 62gr. factory loaded fmj. There were three hits, one to the snooter (he was on the move for my first shot), one obviously to the neck which put him down, and one more to a hind leg. He didn't cover anymore ground after I opened fire.
Edit: It also might help to add that it is a .223/5.56 rifle.

Pardon my ignorance on the subject, but what's wrong with a .223/5.56?
btw, good shooting
btw, good shooting
The spirit of resistance to government is so valuable on certain occasions, that I wish it to be always kept alive. It will often be exercised when wrong, but better so than not to be exercised at all. I like a little rebellion now and then. It is like a storm in the atmosphere. -Thomas Jefferson

Nothing at all karl! TAM was asking what load I was shooting and I thought it was helpful to add that it is a .223/5.56 rifle and not a 6.8, 7.62 or one of the many other calibers the AR comes in.
Thanks! It sure was a hoot!karl wrote:btw, good shooting
