Policeman Vs Kitty

Most CHL/LEO contacts are positive, how about yours? Bloopers are fun, but no names please, if it will cause a LEO problems!

I've met cats like that before. They're just Overly friendly, and want to climb up and hang out on your shoulders, and get in your face in everything you do.

To be honest, I was half expecting this to be an incident of an officer shooting a 'Dangerous Attack Cat'
Thanks for posting something that made me laugh.

Awwww. Cute kitty.
I'm surprised he didn't shake the cat off or set it down after it got waist high, but that sure was cute.

A whole bunch of years ago I had a similar situation with a customer's cat when I was repairing their phone. The customer had MANY cats and they kept chewing the phone cord, and my boss had told me to tell the customer that this would be the last time we replaced it for free, that they would be paying us $13.00 per cord henceforth.

After the cat climbed my leg three or four times, the next time it climbed I kind of peeled it off my leg with my clipboard, just the way the officer did, finished the job and left.

By the time I got to my next job the customer had filed a formal complaint at the vice-presidential level, stating that I had been abusive to them and had kicked their cat. There was a formal investigation and I was "acquitted" and I thought that was the end of it, but the complaint stayed in my file for years, only to be removed when I was promoted to staff and was able to expunge it myself. It really didn't affect my career, but it was a nasty incident anyway.

Some unknown person turned those folks in for violations of the city ordinances against harboring too many cats. The resulting search and seizure netted 42 cats and kittens. The entire basement floor was inches deep in excrement and the house stank.

Hilarious. I have five black cats -- not all of them are that friendly to strangers, but I could see a couple of them pulling a stunt like that. Usually I have one of them trying to lay on the keyboard as I type posts. Cats pretty much think they should be the only "laptop" device in the house... ;-)

Of course...the NEWS shows the part where he back kicks the cat...well after this shot. They did show the cat coming back up his leg immediately after that too.

Couldn't have been me, that would have been a violation of my terms of employment with the phone company and I could have been fired.

That's a FUNNY video! I salute the LEO who acted with complete composure under the amorous kitty attack. :txflag:
