The biggest 327 MAG loading by Speer has the same ballistics of the much venerated Illinois State Police load, which delivers a115 grain, 9mm bullet at 1300 fps/432 me. I would like to see an offshoot of this modern revolver round chambered in a lightweight high capacity semi automatic pistol. Springfield has got 19 rounds of 9mm crammed into the XD Nine now. I'm thinking 24-25 rounds might be possible with a 327 ACP. That would be a good thing when the chips are down. And a single stack? Let's don't even go there.

327 is a nice round but like its been said it would need a alot more people buying this caliber to start showing up in different guns. Can you imagine the frustration trying to find ammo for that gun.
