I'm glad he's okay too. It's good that he wasn't seriously hurt.
These kinds of things are examples of why situational awareness are so important. Even with a CHL, if you don't see them coming, you're in trouble.

He never got a lick in on them! He said "There was a bunch of them" I asked how many of them hit you...he said "One"....my response was to call him a whimp :lol: I guess that's what buddies are for!

I guess the first thing that comes to mind in situations like this is:

"Hey homey? Is that MY briefcase?"
