I have a Smith and Wesson .40 sigma series that is just the plain stock from Academy because I got a steal on it at the time. Is there anything that I can do to this gun such as adding a new handle or anything to it? Also, I need to get a new holster, I am definitely not happy with my Uncle Mike's holster unless I carry SOB, but we all know how everyone on here feels about that. Any recommendations?

Re: SW40VE accessories
I have two holsters for mine. A Crossbreed IWB tuckable and a Blackhawk Serpa CQC. Blackhawk does not list one specifically for the Sigma but the Glock 20/21;S&W M&P .45 one fits perfectly.
The problem with any rail accessories is that the Sigma rails are not Picatinny. You either have to find a light/laser holder specifially for the Sigma or use an adapter like the Laserlyte.

Grips I've not looked for, happy with what's on it.
