Re: Got pulled over by Keller'a finest
This is not the LEO encounter forum, but since the OP has been kinda Hijacked...
I am by habit a careful and lawful driver. Occasionally inattention creeps in and the accelerator may creep lower. We were coming up 35 W after a long, long day and we were all whipped. The next thing I know I've been lit up by DPS, I had been going around 80 in a 65 (I think I slept through it though ) and he asked for my license and insurance and got the CHL as well, he also told me that at fifteen over he had to write a citation. My wife was steady redressing me when he returned to the car and said he would be writing me a warning but to slow it down. My wife popped off and said, "Oh, he's not done getting chewed out yet." He grinned and said, "Good". Then returned to his cruiser.
I can't say I have ever had anything but professional and courteous encounters with DPS.

Remember the rules folks; we do not allow LEO bashing on this forum. Generalizations lean toward bashing
