Houston area ranges?

#1

Post by lalumpala »

We just moved to Houston and are looking for shooting ranges. I've heard that there aren't really that many and that what there is often charge by gun, not by lane. Where are your favourite ranges in Houston? Thanks!

Good choice of gun too :) We have a G19 and it is a wonderfully reliable and accurate gun. :thumbs2:

In or near Friendswood/League City/Pearland, I don't think you can beat PSC. But I'm bias, as I am a member.

Don't you have to be a member to shoot there?.....or an invited guest?

I intend to check it out someday just as soon as I can arrange it with a work mate. I understand you have to be an NRA member to join but do you have to be in order to be a guest?

They have a really annoying new employee there that just irked my new-to-CHL sister-in-law to no end. I quit going there.

Care to elaborate? I hate it when one person spoils an experience. Did you talk to the manager about them? that is what I would do. They need to know what is going on in order to correct the problem. :tiphat:

Hey Purplehood, my name is Mate (pron Motty) and I am Shiloh's newest employee (I'm the tall skinny guy, you cant miss me). I just wanted to apologize for anything I might have said. I'll be honest, I cant recall the particular instance you are referring to, but either way I want to make it right. The next time you, or your sister-in-law come in, I'll give you 25% off.

Again I'm sorry about what happened, and we at Shiloh look forward to having ya'll back.

Mate
