That fella sure is gutshot. He's going to stink to high heaven when you go to clean him!

I stopped keeping my range targets after the first few months as a shooting newb, so I don't have much to give you. Here's one I did for a range report blog post back in March.

This was 10 rounds of WWB at 7 yards, standing, modified weaver grip in rapid-fire. The gun is my regular carry, an FM-90 (MkII) Hi-Power in 9mm.

Very impressive. Perhaps you can make some new targets to share with us. CompVest was saying that she has been known to dabble in target art. Can't wait to see some of that! Be safe.

Almost ashamed to post these after looking at some of the others. Maybe I shouolda used a phillips head on 'em first  The first one is the first time out with my new Micro Desert Eagle .380 Oh I hate that gun. Very uncomfortable to shoot. The second is with my S&W Model 915 9mm. Now that one I love to pull the trigger on.

No longer have target ..Hurrican IKE got it. it was a cloverleaf of less than 1" of 6 rounds, 158 gr. swc at 25 yds.from a Ruger Service Six 4' bbl. .357 from a rest in 1978. 5.0 grains of Red Dot. 357 W/W case with a CCI regular small pistol primer. Never could do that again.

WooHoo! Glad you're still with us after the hurricane but sorry you lost your favorite target. Thanks for telling us about it.

Myron, thanks for sharing with us. We're not trying to define the best of all the targets. This is really a place to see that some work really hard and reap the benefits, and that the rest of us all shoot about the same with a really good target now and then. Bring'em on.......we want to see them!!!!

If you haven't saved one before, do it now. If you get one that's better than the last one you shared, let us see that! It's even fun to see how many different target formats there are out there.

Be Safe!!!!!!!!

I can't open the picture of your target. It didn't display correctly. Will you please try uploading it again?

Thank you.

I had the XD(M) for a couple of weeks before the CHL range test and was able to visit a local shooting range two or three times before the test. I also was using the "thumbs forward" grip that I had read about in the magazines. That grip improved my shooting quite a bit.

Haven't had a handgun since the '80s when I had a Ruger Single Six. So, really, this is all new to me.
