Your Best Range Target
I've been shooting since August and this is my CHL Target. Out of my 50 shots I scored a 247 out of the possible 250 which included one outside the 7.
I used a Smith & Wesson 9mm with Monarch FMJ ammo. I concentrated on that one gun until after my class and now am getting better acquainted with my Bersa Thunder 380cc and my Ruger LCP.
Let us see your favorite targets and how you blew out the middle!!!

Re: Your Best Range Target
That's some awfully good shooting there CHLady!! Congrats!
This'll be a fun thread! I hope more will post pics of their qualifying target. I'll post mine as soon as I figure out how.

I look forward to seeing all the targets, and I'll bet we see some that are outstanding. CompVest is bound to have a great one and ofcourse we know that USA1 will have a good one even if he has to make it himself with a keyhole file. <laughing>

This is my best at 8 yards so far, only had it for two months now but getting better!

CHLady:
Let me go out on limb and speculate that your S & W 9mm is an M & P.
I would guess that since you shot so well, it would seem that if it was a S & W Sigma,
the heavy trigger pull wouldn't result in such a well-perforated target.
So..... which one did you shoot?

You're absolutely correct! But how did you know? I love everything about that gun. I wish it were easy to conceal. Yes my S & W is an M&P.

Re: Your Best Range Target
CHLady,
Great gun choice! Do you have a Compact, Standard, or a Pro M&P? I am very foryunate to have all sizes. I shoot the Standard for competition and I carry the Compact. I find I am able to conceal the compact quite nicely either in a holster or in my purse. The only draw back I found is that it is heavier than my other carry choice a Keltec.
As for posting a target, sorry haven't kept any. I did make smiley faces before I got into IDPA. Now I am interested in good FAST hits - no more art!

Re: Your Best Range Target
CHLLady, this was a great idea. Here's mine using a M&P 9c on April 22, 2009. I didn't own the 9c at the time, it was a rental from the range where I qualified, but bought one in May and is what I carry.
I love my M&P, shoots great, feels great and I'll probably get a full-size soon for competition. The bug has got me now
EDIT: well, can't add as attachment
"Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached."
Hopefully this works...
