Welcome aboard. All I can say is pull up a chair and enjoy the conversation. :cheers2:

Take some time to peruse the rest of the forum. If it's anything like my experience, you'll find a lot of useful information which may make you think twice about your carry weapon/choice of holster/carry method. Use the information to your advantage. :tiphat:

Finally, here's to hoping your wait is a short one. :txflag:

Thx WEC.

Pretty set on my beat to hell (read: reliable, trusted, abused and missing most of the finish) G19 (although I have many many other options  )

Been looking at ordering an MTAC.

Welcome!
I have a G27 and recently got an MTAC. It is pretty comfortable, but for me the biggest plus is the extra flexibility in clothing options when wearing it. I still prefer OWB. I was skeptical about IWB, but it is a great choice to have.
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

Welcome to the forum.

What other guns do you have in your collection if you leave the G19 at home?

I've seen Star brand guns at shows. I've never seen anyone on the forum talk about 'em.
You must like them since you have more than one.

I happened to say "hail from" but what I meant was simply where you live now.
Since you are "DFW", then you are neighbors with myself and many others on the board.

So, being an American citizen born in Japan, will this present any problems should
you run for US President? :-)

No, jus solinguis is the same as jus solis. Blood born citizen is just as "natural born" as one who's citizenship is by soil.
