Oh. I missed that.

It's my understanding that all portable evidence has to be preserved until the trial or guilty plea. If the crime was car theft, you need to show the jury the car that was stolen.

Maybe not. I was never involved in that kind of thing.

Do you think they just don't realize how many good guys are armed, or that they just think they will beat the odds?
I bet the odds for most of them getting away with it are as good as the odds of winning the lottery are bad. (maybe a little exaggeration). I bet that there are thousands of successful crimes for those that are ended by a loud bang.

What part of "Thou Shalt Not Steal" don't they get? :nono:

Karl,
As a recent victim of auto theft, it screws up your day. While it may only be a car (a thing), when do we call it enough? Not advocating random shooting at any and everyone, but the reason these "thugs" (and these particular ones in my case were not juveniles) continue to do this, is because they do NOT respect my and your property(ies). In their mind, it belongs to them because they can "get it". I say enough is enough!

BTW, the next night I got my firearm at the ready with HST ready in case they came back for seconds! :fire

Hooyah!

If you watch the video, the police officer interviewed said that they try to run the security guard over with the car and hit him with the car, although he was not injured.
Sure is nice to see someone here who actually understood what the shooting was about.

I know many people who feel like this, and I don't fault them for their humanist viewpoint. Sure, we can say it's only a car and it shouldn't cost someone their life. But, I don't want to live in a society where someone can steal, pillage or inflict their unlawful will upon others without KNOWING there is a chance their illegal, immoral and just plain wrong actions MIGHT cost them their lives.

I wish those people would put a sign or sticker on their car so the criminals know which ones to target. Everybody wins!

Being a Life member myself I get all tingly in my leg when I see that sticker,(kind of like Chris Mathews does when he sees Obama :smilelol5: ). I even tend to give the person displaying it a bit of instant respect. Unfortunately, I am afraid to display it on my car or windows of my home. My reason??? I don't want some bad guy to see that sticker and figure I might just have guns to steal in my home or even stuck under my car seat.

I agree with you there and I think about the risks all the time. It's Darwinism at its finest. A reasonable person sees that sticker and wouldn't need to think twice about it...a bad guy sees it, sees an illegal opportunity...and thus the hurd thins
