Always have a spare

I don't own one of those style holsters, so I don't know but wouldn't it be better/cheaper/sturdier/more secure/less aggravating to have those clips made out of spring steel than those cheap plastic one's that constantly break? It seems like a common occurrence, as I've heard this story many times.

I made a set for a couple of tuckable holsters out of brass strip, then used "Brass Black" to blacken them. Aluminum might be another good possibility, especially if you know somebody with an anodizing setup.
