Reloading components

#1

Post by Papalote »

Does anyone know where in the Houston area BULK Remington and Winchester components are sold? I am looking for 9mm and 40 cal bullets for handloading. If not, Is Midway your choice? Midsouth? Grafs? Please advise.

Grafs is my choice if you have to mail order. Midway is just as good.

I tend to always buy bullets online because I can't find what I want locally (Rainier). I do get powder and primers local though, rather than pay the hazmat shipping charges.

Carter's Country has a pretty good selection of reloading components. You might give them a call and see if they stock the bullets you want.

Reasonable gun control is hitting your target with the first shot.

I really should let Steve post this, but you can order Montana Gold jacketed bullets through him. He puts in bulk order (min. 8 cases) pretty much every month. I think he's going to develop a procedure for TexasCHLforum folks to order, but he'll have to post the details.

Regards,
Chas.

I've always done well with Midway or Cabelas. Granted, I don't order in the same quantities as others here, only 500 - 1000 at a time.

I also like theRaniers or Berrys as they tend to be almost as cheap as lead and they can be shot indoors.

You might also consider gun shows. There's one in Pasadena this weekend if I remember correctly.

I have been placing regular orders with Montana Gold Bullets. These are premium bullets and shoot very well. I have been shooting them for over 10 years and have never had a problem. I can sell in case lots only and the price will include shipping to Conroe. If you order a case, I'll arrange delivery with you at a major match, or you can arrange for a pick-up. I will place an order when I have orders for 10 cases. PM me if you are interested.
