USA1 Truly IS the 'CHL Whisperer' He just told me yesterday that he had a good feeling, and today! Viola!

Everyone should ask him when their App will be complete, as he has a better track record then asking DPS!

*gets the tent, lawn chairs, and cooler, and pitches camp out by the mailbox.

Ya know.. I love how early last week, they were still waiting on BG check...
Then, suddenly, within 5 days, it's been completed, printed, returned, and put in the mail?

Email your Reps/Senators and Governor! It works!

Congratulations Dicion!
Mines Broke - :smash:
Since last Monday afternoon, I've recieved 3 phone calls and 2 emails stating that my application was completed on Monday and that it would be a week to a week and a half for me to get it  (many DPS people singing that same song). I've been waiting for my page to change, but it still just says
Processing Application
Like I said, Mines Broke - :smash:
Actually, 100 to 1 that I get my license before my page shows Application Completed - license issued or certificate active.
WOW, typing that felt pretty good :

I finally figured it out why there have been SOOOOOOO many people get their licenses active this week, and yesterday!

Aug.31 is the fiscal year end for Texas....DPS included. And they've been working overtime to get as many pushed through as possible to get the numbers up by end of business tomorrow, Monday August 31.

After 12 midnight tomorrow, they will have to start compiling numbers to report for their year end.

(at least it's a good theory, and maybe even a valid one)

Good grief! Super duper congrats to EVERYBODY whose app. reached it to the complete stage! :woohoo

I haven't seen this since I've been on this forum. Albeit it hasn't been that long, still there's been LOTS of activity this week...and this weekend.

Once again, congrats everybody! :thumbs2:
