Re: February Applications
Cant belive it. Finally! Complete and active.
The thing that I dont understand is that the wife and I took the class together and sent in paper work in the same envelope, the only difference was that I had my fingerprint cards returned for signature She had nothing returned and our applications were shown to be competed on the same day. Go figure. Both applications were done online and prepaid.
Long, agonizing wait.
Oh yeah, the dreaded Harris County.

Re: February Applications
Against my better judgment I logged in to check my status today...to my surprise, "Application Completed - license issued or certificate active". So my final tally is about 183 days from my original date of submission and around 136 from my date of submitting some corrected information. Maybe it will be in my mailbox by the time I get back to TX. And in 55 days I'll have a Washington CHL too! :)

That wait is absolutely unacceptable. You are a better man than I if you made it through with relative sanity. Be safe out there!!cmartinez95 wrote:Against my better judgment I logged in to check my status today...to my surprise, "Application Completed - license issued or certificate active". Still no plastic in the mailbox.
Maybe if I whine about it now something will break loose.

It wasn't easy. I guess knowing that I'm not the only one going through this helped...a LITTLE, lol.
Be safe as well.
