I'm an instructor and am looking for a place to take students that will allow me to do some Tactial Classes (tactical reloads, double/triple taps, shooting from barricades and while moving, etc.). Obviously, I would pay them a fee for this, but I'm curious to see where in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex I can do this.
I'm a certified instructor and range officer if that helps.

You might look at Jacob's Plain in Greenville. Not many ranges in DFW allow for much beyond static paper punching.

Re: Looking for a good tactical range
You might want to look at DFW gun range or Quail Creek, as both are listed as holding USPSA & IDPA matches. I found them on this link:

I don't know if this meets your criteria, but it may provide you with a lead. Good luck.

Dallas pistol club you can do IDPA not sure if they will allow you to teach there due to liabilities issues. Does not hurt to ask.

Tac Pro.... its a little drive from DFW, but its WORTH IT.
1000 yard range, .50 BMG's allowed (for members)
non members can fire 200yrds for sure (maybe 300) but above that you have to be a member (very reasonable).
the offer NUMEROUS pistol and combat classes (full auto, double tap, etc.)
again, i have no affiliaiton with them, but i was damn impressed with the range/complex

http://www.apgtraining.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; in greenville, tx. i think class 3 is allowed, much more than double taps and they have many bays.gringogigante wrote:I'm an instructor and am looking for a place to take students that will allow me to do some Tactial Classes (tactical reloads, double/triple taps, shooting from barricades and while moving, etc.). they specialize in what you are asking about. I think they do a bunch of LEO training of all types.
I have seen many police depts out there training in bays when I am on 300 yard range.
