If you are stopped for a traffic violation in Texas, and asked for identification, you are required by Texas law to show your CHL along with your driver's license. How about if you are travelling through other states, such as New Mexico or Arizona (which have reciprocity agreements with Texas) or California (which does not honor Texas CHL's)? Are you required to show your CHL in these other states?
Thanks for any info.

Depends on the state that you're in. When in Rome, do as the Romans do.
