I only submitted my app 2 weeks ago, so I know I have a long way to go, but I just want to know what I should be expecting...thanks in advance!!panic911 wrote:Got my PIN this afternoon. 26 days from the day it was sent to TX DPS. I'm surprised. Now I hope they process it as quickly.

A friend of mine from work had some exciting news for me today. He got his license in the mail yesterday (45 days) not a renewal either. His Son's license has not arrived yet, but they are hopeful it will show up in the next few days.
That is by far the quickest new application I've heard of go to license. I was quick to tell him how lucky he was. That would NEVER happen to me.
Longtooth, this group of people took their course with Britt.

One of my students just told me this past weekend that he got his new license in only 33 days, mailbox to mailbox. I was a little skeptical, but maybe things are going better in Austin, after all.flintknapper wrote:A friend of mine from work had some exciting news for me today. My PIN arrived in the mail. Like I said, 26 days from the time I sent out my application.
I sure hope I'm as luck as the friend mentioned above. If thats the case, I should get mine next week. I won't hold my breathe though.
Cheers,
Jason
Thanks for the reply.... I was thinking that no one saw my question there for a while. Well they recieved my application on 6/30/06 so I am thinking that I should get my PIN in the mail any day now. Man I can't wait to get that CHL!!
