Question for New Instructors RE: TR-100s

For those of you who have just been to the new instructor class - did DPS mention anything about what happens with TR-100s after Sept 1?

I emailed the instructor helpline and got a response back that there would be no changes. Somehow... I don't think that is quite right.

There will be at least one change -- no $5 fee for the form. The authority to charge the fee was repealed and I can't imagine DPS would voluntarily keep a work intensive procedure that was burdensome to everyone involved, especially since they can't charge for the forums.

What they basically said was that Rick Perry hadn't (at that time) signed the bill, and they didn't know exactly how it was going to change the TR-100 process.
