I have a Desantis pocket holster for the J frame. And I have a Mika IWB on order for both the J frame and the Sigma 9.

Hey all,
Just joined the group.
Where are you seeing that your paperwork was received by the state?
I check my status online and all it says is that the packet was mailed.

Welcome dano111,
most folks send paper work " certified mail "...that way there is a tracking number which you can track online. :tiphat:
after they receive it...it takes about 6 weeks ( give or take a week ) to switch to " processing application " :waiting:

Boy I'm hoping that if your paperwork starting processing, then mine is about a week behind, as I mailed mine about a week after you.

Bummer! Got a letter today stating fingerprints failed to meet minimum qualifications for classification. Fortunately, I can get fingerprints re-done on Saturday. Interesting letter is dated 6/17 but arrived here in San Antonio on 6/24. :cryin

Have been lurking on this forum for over a month now so thought it was about time I posted, especially now that I have some movement on my application.

Am happy to report that I received my PIN via snail mail today. Because I thought there was an error (it turned out not to be) I called DPS. As a part of my very pleasant conversation with the lady who answered, I asked how long it might take for my application to be processed. She said that since I'm from Houston, Harris County, there is no way to estimate time as Harris County has a big backlog in processing applications. Sigh......waiting is hard but guess I'd better get used to it.

I've learned a lot from reading this forum and I want to thank all those who posted previously. The last thing I want to do is get in trouble with something that's supposed to keep me out of trouble. :???:

6/24/09 - PIN received
X/XX/10 - Application approved
X/XX/10 - Plastic in hand (I'm not optimistic it'll come in 09)
