with all due respect ,i think you would be jumping the gun. it probably would do no good . it may be another week before it changes to "processing application" . mine took almost 7 weeksgwtrikenut wrote:Has been 6 weeks today. Still nothing. Shows no application or license/cert active.
Think it is time to do some letter writing?
wow that seems kinda fast. do renewals go through faster or something ?MBGuy wrote:Well, I did my renewal app online, took the class on 3/22, sent in my renewal packet on 3/31, and today:
Application Completed - license issued or certificate active

Finally!! No more relying on the MPA and hoping someone doesn't break into my car at the park and ride....
I applied online and talked to DPS when they started processing mine. She said the fingerprints and background check went out on the same day which was the day mine turned to Processing Application. They don't start anything until the day it turns to Processing.MBGuy wrote:I think the law has that renewals shouldn't take longer than 45 days, while new apps shouldn't take longer than 90. If they actually have seperate renewal and new piles of apps, I don't know.
I'm also thinking that maybe applying online first gets the background check done, whereas if you do it all at the same time by using the instructors package you lose that headstart.
But I'm just guessing.....
I mailed mine the same day you did, and got my PIN today also. Not that it matters. I'm not processing yet.bb281 wrote:PIN came in today, moving a little closer to the license part now...
