I had a somewhat similar experience at MCRD. Several of us flew into Miramar on a cross country and went to the O-Club at MCRD (MCrud) on a Friday night where I was neatly shot down and wounded in the heart by several young ladies. I ended up with a bruised ego but, I still have an intense loyalty to young ladies. My wife lets me look, but I can't date.cjlandry wrote: I served a short enlistment in the USMC, which ended with a knee injury after 12 of 13 weeks at MCRD San Diego. Sorry, I don't remember him. Must be a good guy, though.Charles L. Cotton wrote:
Welcome Rob. Do you happen to know a former Navy flight instructor named "Walt" Walters? He's on the NRA Board of Directors and now lives in Virginia. He's older than you, but I believe you guys may have been serving at the same time.
