Called all of the above requesting getting SB730 to the House floor ASAP.

Also called Senators Harris and Nelson, thanking for support of Campus Carry bill in the Senate yesterday.

Hopefully we can get this thing sent to the floor. I sent the following:
Representative McCall,

As a Texas CHL holder who drives over 90 miles round trip to work every day, SB 730 is very important to me. I respect my employer's policy of no guns in the workplace - however the policy of no guns on company property, including the parking lot, effectively disarms me for my entire commute. I hope to never have to use my weapon for self defense - but I also hope that if that dark day ever comes, I will have the tools available to ensure my safe return to my family. SB 730 will help ensure that I will be in a position to defend myself against a threat to my life if that unfortunate scenario ever becomes reality.

As you know, this bill passed the Senate unanimously and enjoys strong bipartisan support in the house. I believe that you owe it to the citizens of Texas and your colleagues in both the Senate and House to allow this bill to be voted on by the full House.

Thank you for your consideration,
Getting down to the wire... hope we can squeak across the finish line in time.

I would have added to the above message to Mc Call that getting this bill out of committee is owed to those that voted him into office!
