I thought I was really doing good today, 2 to the body on 5 targets then strong hand only 1 to the head, or something like that  WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE WASN'T SUPPOSED TO BE ANY HEAD SHOTS

Then there was that no shoot that moved in behind my target, but it was only a little-bitty crease

Oh well there will be a chance to do better next month.

Lot's of Fun, if your not shooting it you should be! And THANK'S to all that help put it on.

But Tom, you looked good doing it. :cheers2:

Besides, that "no-shoot" needed shooting anyway, I know, I put one through him too! (Must have reminded me of this guy--> :chldancing )

Seriously, we did have a great time today. My thanks also to Charles, Marc, Eric, Steve, Bill and all the others who had a hand in it.

Wish I could've been there, sounds like good times.

It was a wonderful time! Once again the people from PSC proved to be a class act. I learned a great deal and figured out multiple ways to completely slaughter the good intention and wonderful instruction on a course of fire!

With time and good instruction I know things will improve. I had a blast and walked away from my first match with much more than I ever imagined. Thank you to all who made this day great for me!

BTW, I killed one of good guys as well...just on a different course. Take care.

Charles, anymore updates on the shooting day at PSC on September 30?

As a matter of fact - yes! The PSC Board has approved the event and confirmed the date, so we're on for Sept. 30th.

We haven't planned the activities yet, but we'll have all of seven pistol bays and the plate rack for our use. We'll set up some scenarios to shoot, including our computer controlled pneumatic targets. I still like the idea of having some coaching available, so get ready El Gato, I'll be drafting you and some others to do some teaching. If we have a large enough group, we may have a seminar around lunch time, perhaps a few throughout the day. Of course we'll have the two Texas Stars!

It should be a fun day. When we get closer, I'll ask for RSVP's so we can make a decision on food. If it’s a small group, we’ll draft Steve to grill for us again. If we have enough people, we’ll have it catered.

There will not be a charge, but we are going to make it a benefit event for the 2 year old daughter of a PSC member. She has significant brain damage and requires special therapy, some of which is not covered by health insurance. Any donation will be appreciated and put to good use, but all donations will be anonymous, so if cash is a little tight right now, come join us anyway and don’t give it a second thought. The prime goal is to have fun, put some faces with the posts (now that sounds funny) and if we can raise some money for Julia in the process, so much the better.

Regards,
Chas.

To all the forum members who shot on Saturday, It was good shooting with you. I had a great time even though I didn't finish the match.

You and Donna are so dependable, you remind me of that old Timex commercial. (The youngsters here have no idea what I'm talking about. :headscratch )
