RE-Introduce yourself......
Just thought I'd redo my intro since I've been away from y'all for so long. I got too busy with life and didn't have as much time as I'd like for this site.
To refresh and catch y'all up to speed....I got my CHL in '05 joined in June 1 2006 and participated for awhile then lost my job and time just flew by. I've only visited once in the last year
After working in IT/computers/network for 10 years, I made a career change in June of '08 to law enforcement. I didn't have time to spend online while in the academy for the last half of last year, but I've completed my field training and I've been on my own just over a month now. I've also expanded the firearms collection a bit as you can see by my signature line.
Now I gotta spend some time getting caught up with things on here.

Re: Introduce yourself
Hey there - 45 years old and I live in Dallas. I'm a member of a couple of other forums, but thought I'd come over here and say howdy. I work for a banking company, and got my CHL a year ago.....put it off for the longest time, always found another gun to buy instead, but Obama started scaring me in the primaries, so.......I finally 'pulled the trigger' and I must say it's the best thing I've done for my family in a long time. When not at work, I carry everywhere.......currently, I pack a Taurus PT145, and a Taurus 455 revolver - both in 45acp. I just purchased a model 617, the 7 shot 357 magnum, that I'll be working into the rotation once I run a few hundred rounds through it.
