West Houston FFL

Post by sss »

I'm strongly considering buying a new Springfield Armory XD from Bud's, and am looking for a reasonably priced FFL transfer in the West Houston area. I know Top Gun and A Gun Shop in this area do it, but they charge $75 and $50, respectively. There's also Martini Hardware for $20 but they're a way's away from me.

Does anybody know of a reasonably priced alternative in the area? I'm near Westheimer and Wilcrest.

There is a guy on the NW side of town. Go to glocktalk and look for username Madecov. He used to charge $10 for CHL holders and was a good guy to deal with.

If geeks is close enough for you I have dealt with Pbratton personally and he is a nice honest guy to deal with.

I've done several transfers through him in the past and all went smoothly. He's very pleasant to deal with.

Loan Star Pawn at 12889 Westheimer Rd. It's between Eldridge & Dairy Ashford.

They charge $25. They always have a respectable firearms collection and know their stuff.
