Plug your ears and chant, "Blah, blah, blah". That should work equally well.

Leslie Stahl on the 60 Minutes segment actually behaved like a journalist, presenting both sides. (I didn't sit there with a stopwatch to see if she gave exactly equal time to both sides.) She even emphasized that people at the gun show were filling out paperwork and going through the FBI background checks in order to buy guns.

This was in stark contrast to Dianne Sawyer's garbage on the earlier 20/20 segment - Ms. Sawyer ought to be ashamed to term herself "journalist" for the agenda-driven propaganda hit piece she produced - a performance that would do "Baghdad Bob" proud. (Come on, her segment had teenagers set up to "accidentally find" a gun using a flashlight to look down the barrel of a .357 revolver to see if it was loaded!! Either the gene pool is amazingly shallow, or it was all choreagraphed and rehearsed.)

There's nothing wrong with real liberals. Thomas Jefferson was a liberal. The problem is the pinkos have been calling themselves liberals for so long that the real liberals had to start calling themselves libertarians.
Better. Not Bitter.

Agreed. It's the same problem with conservatives these days; many of the people that call themselves taht... aren't.

True. Neither President Bush was a fiscal conservative.

And their claims to be social conservatives were weak as well.
