Need a rental house in Lubbock
Hi all.
As I've stated in other posts I will be moving to Lubbock around the middle of May. I have tried finding a house for rent online, but all the ones I find seem to have a bias against my dog. They all say "...no dogs of a vicious breed....", and I KNOW they would consider my sweetheart as one of them. She is SO vicious:

I would like a 2 br, garage, laundry hook ups, and a fenced in back yard . Something in the $500 - $550 range, if possible, or thereabout. Prefer something possibly on the outskirts of town or the surrounding areas.
The owner of the store I will be coming to is helping me with the moving expense and also trying to get me someplace to live that meets my requirements, but I thought I would ask everyone in here if they could help me.
My job here closed their doors/went out of business only giving me a week and a half warning they were doing so. The owner had me post things for sale on the company's corporate site so I listed myself too! Got an offer from another store in Lubbock and am coming down to take the job. There's not much in my town for employment opportunities unless I wanna be a Walmart greeter.
Ya'll (notice I'm already picking up the language!) have been a pretty friendly and helpful group so I thought I'd ask if you can give me a hand.
Thanks,
Dan

Keith,
sorry. Saw another post in here asking about renting. Thought, since this is the "Off Topic" area this would be where I could post this.
So.......which forum should I ask for help in this then?

Actually his post was appropriate to the link that DngrsDan had posted. The cat had that "I dare you to disturb me" look.Keith B wrote:No, your post is OK. KC5AV posted a response that was supposed to be in another thread, but it ended up here.DngrsDan wrote:Keith,

Liberty,
actually you hit it on the head. Josie IS her protector! If the other cats get rough with her Josie chases them off. And the cat KNOWS that!

Sorry, you are 100% correct. I must be slipping. I was thinking that the photo in the link associated with this one was the photo in another thread.Liberty wrote:Actually his post was appropriate to the link that DngrsDan had posted. Go to wantads4u.com That is the thrifty nickel here. They always have a lot of rentals. Good luck.
